The ‘Holy Data’ installation explores data as a form of religion. The three totems act as spiritual frameworks to perform a series of data rituals guided by audio meditation.

The speculative space is proposing a series of questions around the idea that our universe consists of data flow: Is the value of any phenomenon or entity determined by its contribution to data processing? What is the point of doing or experiencing anything if nobody knows about it and it doesn’t contribute to the global exchange of information? Does this propose we send our experiences into the system and have it tell us what we should do next? Do these principles overlap with some forms of religions and behaviors we already follow?
